About Georgia

Ryan Murphy's 'Glee' premiered on May 19th, 2009. Georgia was eight years old, and they were sat. Throughout the course of that series and others like it, their young (too young?), impressionable mind learned the art of world building. Once their family realized that Georgia’s case of 'theatre kid' was acute and would likely last a lifetime, Georgia’s father packed them into his BMW M3 each weekend and took the hour long drive into NYC to see the work of Clare Barron, María Irene Fornés, Caryl Churchill, Sarah Ruhl, and many more.

Now Georgia is a lesbian, non-binary, emerging playwright making surreal, political satire on the conditions of life for their generation. Georgia writes about the state of the world in front of them, then cranks up the heat until the story reaches a boiling point in absurdity, hilarity, strangeness and truth. Georgia's writing is driven by a radical political ethos, with an urgent mission to spark a revolutionary spirit into the hearts of their generation
